Mission To increase the resilience of the financial
services industry in our region in the event of a regional disaster in
collaboration with city, state and federal agencies, including to:
- protect the lives of the people working in the industry
- protect the financial assets entrusted for safe keeping and
investment
- work with city and state authorities on emergency coordination
and evacuation
- implement the primary objectives in a rapid manner
Primary Objectives
- Obtain public sector awareness and participation
- Obtain priority access to facilities in a disaster
- Develop comprehensive DRP/BCP plans
Current Initiatives
- Obtain seats at regional Emergency Operations Centers
- Obtain credentialing (pre or post) capabilities
- Develop evacuation procedures
- Improve earthquake preparedness
- Improve pandemic preparedness
- Schedule drills, exercises and testing, involving the public
sector
